One United EMS is a community-rooted medical transport and emergency medical service operating across New York City and Northern New Jersey. We move people who need care, on their schedule or in an urgent transfer, with the skill of a hospital and the heart of a neighbor.
What we do
Our crews handle the full range of medical transport: wheelchair and ambulette rides, stretcher vans, BLS and ALS ambulances, dialysis and hospital discharge transport, and inter-facility and critical care transfers. Every vehicle is ADA compliant and maintained to clinical standards.
A hybrid mission
We operate on a hybrid model. Fees from scheduled medical transport help sustain volunteer emergency response for neighbors who need it most. That is why supporting One United EMS, through a gift or by volunteering, strengthens care for the whole community.
Coverage and dispatch
Dispatch is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We coordinate Medicare, Medicaid and most major insurance plans, and we explain private-pay rates clearly before any trip.
